Roads on Mars?

Just to the south of the current helicopter position, there are double linear features, that look like the remains of walls along the lines of roads, there are T Junctions and long straight sections. I hope these will be investigated.

Ahhh, no, they will not be investigated as roads, because THEY ARE NOT. They will, however, be investigated along with all the other natural features at the landing site, that is why the rover was sent there in the first place.

Definitely not roads. Plate boundaries/faults are the likely explanation.

Just another example of coincidence and the human brain trying to contextualize an image.

Plate boundaries are not that small.

I hope all of this Mars colony stuff works out. We would become a two planet space fairing species. And I hope we do that with some of our other solar system planets. Hi Catasrophe it's been awhile.

Imagination is a wonderful thing. Remember those "hand shaped" areas in South America which were claimed to be alien 'airports'? They turned out to be not much larger than hand prints. Perhaps tiny aliens? Sadly, some people seem to see shapes in natural features and superimpose the first thing which comes to mind.

The same thing happened when the fossil Tiktalik was found. Richard Dawkins was so sure that this was an intermediate species between a land animal and a whale but it turned out to be a North American river otter - Darn! (LOL)

Yeah. They Look like it.. BUUUT, they are Not.
And just what do we pave ours with upon being there ? I say screw roads on mars. Learn to build what flies there then Fly it !
