I guess the article mentioned all possible reasons why people launch satellites to space. I'm interested in environmental satellites because they help scientists monitor large land areas and obtain information about different animal or plant species. I always wonder how engineers manage to build such cameras. Once I was busy reading about satellite imagery and its manufacturers and found out about Dragonfly Aerospace. You'll be surprised, but it's a South-African company that develops various imagers for cubesats and microsats. Have someone ever heard about them?
