Scientists catch 1st glimpse of a black hole swallowing a neutron star

I keep expecting to see some EM detection of such an event. There is bound to be a lot of it during those last seconds. But it was helpful to learn that the field of view, 2900 moons worth in this case, makes this all but impossible, for now.

I also predict BH/BH mergers might have an EM pulse. The entropy changes alone should make things messy, IMO.
