Anyone use the Sky Scout since the last thread on it ? Sounded like a neat toy but not at that price ($300 - $400). I also wonder about it's accuracy, the 3 deg mentioned in the linked thread sounds awfully loose. In any case I wonder if anyone has made a better clone or hack of the device ? Seems to me a compass and tilt sensor feed into a notebook along with lat/long and time (and some software) would do what it does but either better or for less $$.

-----------------------------------------------------

Ask not what your Forum Software can do do on you,

Ask it to, please for the love of all that's Holy, STOP !
