I was curious about an article I read on the Cassini Space probes findings about the particles making up Saturns rings having slower spins that expected, specifically does the speed of spin of a particle in the rings get calculated using the gravitational constant G?

See the Cassini Update Thread in M & L. There are a number of posts there concerning the recent ring findings.
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find and not to yeild. - Tennyson
