14th Annual Webby Awards Honors Two TechMediaNetwork Web Sites

SPACE.com and LiveScience.com named Official Honorees among 10,000 entries for “Internet’s Highest Honor”

Ogden, Utah – April 20, 2010 – Judges from the 14th Annual Webby Awards have selected two TechMediaNetwork (http://www.techmedianetwork.com) properties, SPACE.com and LiveScience.com, as Official Honorees in the Science category. Out of the nearly 10,000 entries submitted to the Webby Awards this year, less than 15 percent were awarded the status of Official Honorees.

Hailed as the "Internet's highest honor" by the New York Times, The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. The Webby Awards is presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 650-person judging academy whose members include Internet co-inventor Vinton Cerf, R/GA's Chief Bob Greenberg, "Simpson's" creator Matt Groening, Arianna Huffington, and Harvey Weinstein.

Space enthusiasts visit Space.com (http://www.space.com) for compelling content about space science, astronomy and exploration news. Launched in 1999, Space.com has enjoyed the past management participation of several key space-related public figures.
