The following is a direct quote from this morning's NTD status:

"OV-103 (STS-114/ISS-17-LF1)/Pad B

Launch Date Decision (1812hrs Thursday per Mike Leinbach):
Program level concerns regarding the ET LOX feed-line bellows ice formation, liberation debris and transport analysis have warranted further testing prior to flight. With concurrence from Bill Readdy, the following actions will be performed prior to STS-114 launch. The analysis techniques used will be more vigorously examined and additional testing of ice formation scenarios, liberation and RCC/TPS impact modeling will be performed. The results of these additional efforts will be subject to a peer review by the NESC followed by a delta Debris Verification Review (DVR) and finally, a presentation to the Stafford Covey Task Group. The targeted completion date for analysis is June 15-20.

Vehicle decisions: We will miss the May opportunity but will continue to prepare for launch in the July 13 - 31 window. The decision to continue S0024 hyper loading will be discussed today. Loading, if performed, would be NET Saturday due to the Titan launch. While the decision to roll the shuttle back to the VAB is still being evaluated, additional troubleshooting will be performed in order to resolve issues with the Engine Cut Off (ECO) sensor and LH2 pre-press valve cycling. An additional tanking test is also being evaluated. The TCDT planned for next week is also under review.

ET decisions: The ET LOX feed-line bellows heater mod has not been approved due to the uncertainty associated with the affect on the LOX commodity. If the mod is approved it would begin on the STS-121 tank immediately (Mod kit expected at KSC by May 5) and would take about two weeks to implement. Another concern is the Diffuser Mod that was implemented on the LH2 side of the STS-114 tank (both sides of the STS-121 tank) and whether it is a contributor to the LH2 pre-press cycling concern seen dur
