The AMS repair sure reminded me (and many others, I'm assuming) of the Hubble repair. Kudos to everyone who was involved in this enormous job.

Expensive instruments, designed for attachment to the space station, should always be designed for maintenance. It is never a question of will it have problems - it is when. Problems are a given.
