Cool, yet scary at the same time. Looks like a cut out of the engineering deck.

WOW !.

Only in America, folks. What a great job they made of it, it ought to be in that new Sci Fi museum, for sure.

It seems so sterile and cold. I bet folks in the 24th century would even hate it.
Wow! That apartment totally rocks! I can't believe what they are asking for it. That's way high considering that it is only a one bedroom, one bath apartment.

...

OK. It's "cool" looking. But.. does anyone actually think that an active bachelor would have a snowball's chance in ___ if they retired to this apartment for the evening with a recently acquired "lady friend?" Well, I guess I can think of one or two that may take someone up on that offer.. but.. it's nothing you'd brag about ya know.

I would have loved this apartment when I was 12. Now, I have a hard enough time keeping grime outta my shower. Then again, if I had a cool mil to waste on this apartment, I guess I wouldn't care.

OK Mr. Landlord, throw in Seven-of-Nine and it'sa deal. Is there a pet deposit?

a_lost_packet_
I put on my robe and wizard hat...

Oh, yeah, someone on another board emailed him with some questions about the place, this is the response she got back
In reply to:

Thanks for your email.

The bathroom is really the 'shower room' and consists of LCARS panelling, Infinity mirror, TNG wall panelling with fitted diffused lighting, corner shower unit with footlights, panelled ceiling, corner mirrored cabinet and not forgetting, the push-flush toilet.
It is argued that the bath/shower room is not totally in keeping with the ST design, and I would agree with that, but then, in terms of what we saw of that area on the screen, 70% ST is ok I feel.

As for the bed, before I installed the Transporter Pads, that area was occupied by a 4'x6' bed.
I got rid of the bed simply because I use to have a touch of sciatica, and was advised by my GP to sleep on the floor.
Surprisingly enough, it cured my sciatica and gave me the space to put the Transporter Pads.

Believe me, sleeping on the floor can be very comfortable.

I'm not exactly sure what a "push-flush toilet" is.

Well wouldn't need a bed for anything other than sleeping. Cause you know if you own that you're not bringing anyone home. Well you might bring someone home but I doubt that they would be staying long.

Now why couldn't they have a place like that on "Monster House" or "Extreme Homes"?

Wayne

"1) Give no quarter; 2) Take no prisoners; 3) Sink everything." Admiral Jackie Fisher

IIFC, Monster House already did a "Sci-fi" theme, with a crashed UFO in the Ceiling and Bank type Tubes to bring a cold beer from the kitchen to the Living room or the Front Door ... and it even gives it a nice shake too...
Dave..

Yep, I saw that one, but it wasn't 1/100 as cool as this apartment.

On those days when I daydream about what it would be like to be obscenely rich, I wondered who you would approach if you wanted to commission a playhouse for the kids or even a house for yourself that was like this. I mean, the yellow pages ads usually don't mention - expert in building sci-fi houses....

Wayne

"1) Give no quarter; 2) Take no prisoners; 3) Sink everything." Admiral Jackie Fisher
