This forum deals with telescopes and stuff, so I thought this is the best place to get some help with my problem.

Any summer night I take my telescope out to look at stars and planets, it seems like hundreds of bugs, specially mosquitoes, also like to take a peek at the stars through my telescope - and I'm on their way. So they take the option of biting to remove me from the scope.

Anyone has found out any 100% effective method to discourage these star gazers and keep them 10ft away from me? I must emphasize spraying anything on my skin is not an option. I'd rather take bug-bites than spray chemicals on my skin.
Earth is Boring
