cool video, thanks for sharing!

Something I've always found mysterious, why does nobody ever suggest that the "M" in M-Theory could stand for membrane?

Likely because it doesn't. It means, depending on the theory, "Magic," "Matrix," or "Mother of all Theories."

Though between you and me, it probably should mean "Membrane," for the layman's benefit.

That does seem logical, particularly since they don't seem to be able to agree on any specific meaning. :)

When you start to delve into the subject, it DOES seem akin to magic, doesn't it?!
