Release: 2010

Studio: Columbia Pictures

Director: Sam Rami

Producers: San Rami; Michael Uslan (rumored)(all Batmans including Returns & Dark Knight, National Treasure, Constantine)

Screenwriter: San Rami, Siavash Farahani (rumored)

Backstory: Rami wanted to do The Shadow in the late 80's but didn't get it. He then did Darkman, a similar character. In 1994 another team did a movie starring Alec Baldwin that predictably flopped. Now it's Rami's turn.

Raimi should go back to do low budget cult horror and forget the superhero genre. What about another Evil Dead?

The first one was ok. I didn't like the second and I'm not planning on watching the third one, some people told me it is the worst one.

hmmm... ok, you got me there. Although, I would rather see a low budget horror cult classic where she appears on gratuitous topless and/or lesbian scenes.

Raimi should go back to do low budget cult horror and forget the superhero genre. What about another Evil Dead?

The Evil Dead (2008)

Company: Ghoul House Pictures (Grudge I/II, The Messengers, Boogeyman)

Director: ?

Writer: Sam Rami

Casting: NO ASH!! Sam Raimi has said he has no intent of including Ash in the re-make. The Ash character has too much of fan base that believes only one man can play him, so he has decided not to include this character in the film at all.

Synopsis: Five friends all decide to spend a nice, quiet weekend at a cabin out in the woods. When they get there, they discover a book made out of flesh and inked in blood. They also find a tape recorder, with a strange man's voice on it. When they play the tape, it begins with the man translating what is written in the strange book. The translation awakens evil demons which have been resting in the woods, and now, they are ready to attack the people that have awakened them from their slumber.

WTF?

WTF?

WTF!!

They CAN'T do the Evil Dead without Ash! My god! It's crazy! Bruce Campbell MADE THAT MOVIE GREAT!

He should leave it alone, let it be. Sheesh, aren't there enough crazy teen exploitation horror movie scripts out there to do? If not, he can write me here and I'll churn out one for him if he'll just.. leave... Evil Dead.. alone.
I put on my robe and wizard hat...

Well, the "Evil Dead" tells you how Ash got to the land of "The Army of Darkness" in the first place. It's actually two movies: The Evil Dead and The Evil Dead II. They're very similar though but the second's ending tells you how he got to the land of the third movie.
I put on my robe and wizard hat...
