New calculations suggest the sun is a few fractions of a percent smaller than previously estimated, and that could change how we study it.

After reading, some past reports suggested the Sun was not 100% fusion powered star by also gravity based where its diameter could slowly shrink. If this is taking place, big problems perhaps for the stellar evolution model and age assigned to the Sun could appear.
