I know there used to be, it seemed, quite a few threads about what people saw when they had done a night's worth, or even a few hours worth of looking, but rather than dig them up, I thought I'd begin a new one.

I got up earlier than usual (about 4:00am) and spent about 30 mins on my back deck this morning, just looking up. I was able to see the moon and Mars, vaguely make out where Taurus is - really only see Aldebaran since the moon was pretty bright, part of Orion (trees block a lot of my viewing to the east), and could just make out the great square of Pegasus. I do not own a telescope - yet, but I do have binoculars and they really help, as the ol' eyesight ain't what it used to be!
But it was nice to have a break from the haze and humidity and do a bit of seeing. Of course, it's supposed to get back to summer-like conditions this afternoon and tomorrow, and for who knows how long after that?! I sure can't wait for cooler, clearer weather!
Anyway, anyone else been able to do any looking?
