Underdetermination of a scientific theory is NOT philosophy. It is mathematics of probability. Empirical equivalents is a logorithic procedure embedded in a computer function, simply stated the old adage ; “garbage in is garbage out”. A theory is philosophy. It is “silly-putty” to choose between two philosophies by philosophy. It is best left to the conscious “free will”.
