For $300, you'll get a *far* superior scope from Orion. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> <p>.</p><p><font size="3">bipartisan</font>  (<span style="color:blue" class="pointer"><span class="pron"><font face="Lucida Sans Unicode" size="2">bī-pär'tĭ-zən, -sən</font></span></span>) [Adj.]  Maintaining the ability to blame republications when your stimulus plan proves to be a devastating failure.</p><p><strong><font color="#ff0000"><font color="#ff0000">IMPE</font><font color="#c0c0c0">ACH</font> <font color="#0000ff"><font color="#c0c0c0">O</font>BAMA</font>!</font></strong></p> </div>

The best way to tell if it is legit or not is to look on the box. Does it list the aperture diameter (3', 4.5', ect.) or does it list the magnifying power (100x, 500x, ect.)? If it lists the former, then maybe. If it lists the latter, then don't waste your time or money. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> <p> </p><p><em>So, again we are defeated.
