Sedna sounds like a good name and it doesn't sound greek either, I hope not. So what is the next step? Will they send a spacecraft to the planet. After all, pictures are needed...

Zochi Coisma Di Thom Pozix Xi!!!!
We are born. We live. We experiment. We rot. We die. and the whole process starts all over again! Imagine That!

Actually, Sedna is the "11th" planet
#10 is 2003 UB 313. It is twice as far from the sun as pluto, and roughly two times as big.

Sedna is named after the Inuit goddess of the sea.

Sedna is currently three times the distance from the sun as Pluto. The New Horizons probe that will depart for Pluto next year will take 9.5 years to get there if the primary launch window is used.

Send a probe to Sedna - sure, if you're prepared to wait for thirty years!
