The first priority of USSF will have to be protecting our assets in orbit. Other countries are already placing satellites in orbit that could easily reposition space junk to cause collisions. Our satellites are essentially unprotected now. Something we rely on as much as we do, must not be such an easy target. We need a permanent presence on the moon. For research and a refueling/resupply base. Whether we like it or not, we will eventually have to put weapons in orbit.

Hello everyone!
I would love to see U.S. Space Force focus on educational opportunities for children to learn, explore, meet some of the people who work there. They can focus on space defence system that could protect our nation and exploration of planets.

First priority should be to cleanup space debris and then do research to make the environment conducive for simple cell organisms. Post this more complex cell organisms can find their place in space/other planets. Do more research in harnessing energy which will be critical in making those giant leaps!

USSF ought to be developing UAVs to protect space assets and /or destroy threats to assets. Also, we should already have measures in place to protect us from catastrophic asteroid strikes.

The USSF should consider the geopolitical ramifications of a military institution operating in space. This could launch a new arms race as nations struggle to protect the orbital devices that have become so necessary to our civilization. Beyond even that, we open the door for a race to control orbital kinetic energy weapons which pose a similar payload to fusion bombs, but can not be blocked once in motion, and are far simpler to manufacture.
In short, the USSF should be replaced by an organization that is not affiliated with the armed forces, and that fosters a global spirit of exploration and cooperation.

USSF should have, as it's main purpose, the development of off-world migration , and off-world survival strategies, to prepare for catastrophic events on the surface.

I'd like to see the US Space Force work on advertising the program and recruitment process with service roles and responsibilities for those interested in joining.

I would like to see the Space Force explore the planets and moons more, I think we still have a lot to learn about all the objects in space.

As a military branch, USSF's mission probably encompasses protecting U.S. space assets from hostile nations and developing offensive capabilities within the limits currently set by international law/convention. I'd like to see them focusing on defense rather than offense, however, as I still have the silly notion that we might be able to use the leap into space as an opportunity to civilize our species. Defensive missions would include a Coast Guard-like rescue capability, orbital debris mitigation, establishment of enhanced monitoring & mitigation for space-based natural threats, and logistical support for future manned missions or bases to/on the Moon & Mars.

I think it would be great if you would provide the detailed schematics to some of Salvatore Pais’s inventions to small manufacturers. You could set a cap retail price, collect a percentage for building out your infrastructure or veteran programs and slowly put new tech into circulation to end the metered energy co͏n͏tro͏l system without major disruption to society. It would be a good way to employ veterans as well. Everyone wins who deserves to win.

USSF is a military branch of the US government. As such, I believe it is their responsibility to ensure the safety of all space going vessels, and the safety of other facilities and equipment orbiting the Earth and Moon.
As they advance further in capabilities, they should expand to ensure safety of all peoples exploring the solar system.

USSF role is the same as the role of any Government force. It's protecting us against any threats. The risk of alien invasion is minimal, but the risk of catastrophic event due to the asteroid or comment impact is quite significant. We already monitoring the movement of near Earth objects, but still you have no means to protect against those threats. The efforts should go into planning and development of methods to neutralise all objects on collision trajectory with Earth.

In my opinion, their first set of goals should focus on establishing a global set of rules and regulations regarding the setup and running of bases and or colonies on the moon and mars.

#1 more efficient propulsion:
#2 insuto resource utilization:
#3 using the Moon as an anchor and in conjunction with telescopes & equipment on Earth in order to monitor activity in the outer solar system and Oort cloud, thus providing a significant increase in information regarding objects like Oumuamua that was quite possibly the remnants of an 👽 civilization. It should remain a common cause for humankind to be able to spot such objects as they are entering our solar system, not when they are leaving our solar system as was the case with Oumuamua.

#4 The Moon provides a scalable solution to measuring the interaction between the magnetospheres and gravitospheres of the various parts of our solar system. By utilizing quantum computers in the process of mapping our solar system through the conjoined concept of Electric, Magnetic and Gravitational interference in the space time continuum(?), we may find completely new ways to measure so called 'Gluons' and also oberseve objects at further distance without needing to rely solely on telescopes for Long Range Detection. Furthermore, if we can place an EMG interference network; Perhaps all the way out to Vesta (location, tilt angle and cryogenic ressources) we may be able to detect Quantum Flux at new levels suitable for Technological applications: For example in Advanced Propulsion & Energy, Active Radiation Shielding & maybe: 'Gluon' bending of space(?)

#5 in the same way we define space as the space inbetween stuff, it does not have a measurable temperature on its own, however, it remains quite likely that a similar concept could be applied to advanced propulsion, given enough information on changes in Myon activity resulting from the EMG network interacting with the solar system; as we would have more than 1 frame of reference: the utilization of Celestial Objects in conjunction with Earth could open up for new ways of understanding the fundamentals of Technology like Advanced Fusion Propulsion.

6# Modern Day Quantum Computers should be able to detect Flux during the interaction by feeding the various frames of reference into the Quantum Matrix and hopefully provide a common 'equation' for 'bending' space with 'gluons' through the utilization of the vast energy stored in our solar systems magnetic and gravitational "Slingshot". Rather than relying on brute force in the realm of chemical propulsion, we could begin to properly understand and map the magnetic Flux lines of our solar system & its parts in relation to the gravitational ones and thereby provide an estimate to building expenses associated with near-term fusion powered EMG drives. Having a basic understanding for not only the "gravitational interplanetary highway" but also the magnetic one - in relation to each other - should provide Quantum Computers with the Data required to point our telescopes in the right direction long before any larger object would be able to pose a threat to Earth.

#7 More international contests for space technology in both the Technological (practical and theoretical realms) and Art, whether it be games, music, drawings, animations, interactive multiple choice questions etc.

#8 I believe it would be wise to pursue an international effort in Planetary Defense regarding Asteroids and Aliens (?) Alike. The EMG network would provide a buffer to the detection time of objects in proximity to our solar system and our planet, and Quantum Computers could then provide the most wonderful experiences of scientific breakthroughs in the form of data regarding how Electricity, Magnetism and Gravity interacts at the Macroscopical plane of existence. Perhaps it may even give us the time required to alter the trajectory of a potential "planet buster" asteroid even if it doesn't originate from inside our solar system. & if the EMG would function as intended, perhaps we could deflect asteroids using only the absolute minimum amount of chemical propulsion in the process.

9# Establish the Union of Worlds / Interstellar Diplomatic Council with any friendly alien species that we may find in our galactic neighborhood; or at the very least prepare incase our galactic neighborhood is not so friendly.

Space Force Should protect freedom of navigation in Earth orbit and beyond, and enforce existing treaties while exercising the United States rights regarding the use of space.

I think the focus should be establishing a colony on the moon. This way we will have a launching point to get to Mars or other places. We know we can make it to the moon. We first need to create an atmosphere on the moon, which bombing could work. After that, we would then need to start planting things and building things.

The Space Force needs to protect American interests in space to begin with. The threats from China are too great currently. Once that's established then a working relationship with the private sector to promote exploration and research in space and on other celestial bodies.

I'd like to see work done on clearing space debris from orbit, as well as research into long term habitation of space and extraterrestrial bodies. Our biggest short-term goal should be establishing semi-permanent outposts on the moon with our eyes on Mars, to ensure we don't fall victim to a planetary-level extinction event.
