While technically maybe not a spaceship, I have to say the Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle that is under development by NASA. I'm a little partial since one of my sons is named Orion.

Definitely the Saturn V - Years ago, standing under the enormous rocket engines, in Florida, it dwarfed any other rocket I've ever been close too. A technological marvel. Why don't we use it any more? I know, I know! Fuel mileage.

I have 2.

The Space Shuttle and the International Space Station.

The Space Shuttle was an amazing machine. It is likely the only time man will have traveled to low earth orbit in something the size of an airplane and to return the craft back to earth. It left for unlimited possibilities from servicing satellites for repairs to being a workhorse of the International Space Station. I was sad to see the Shuttle program end in July 2011.

The International Space Station is an accomplishment to show what man is capable of doing when we all work together. The complexity and engineering challenges faced during construction, and now while experiments are being conducted, continue to serve as lessons learned for when man takes the next step and creates settlements on other planetary bodies.

I am excited and look forward to the future of manned space exploration.

That would be space shuttle Discovery for me, mission STS-31 in particular as it launched the Hubble telescope. I was one of the people involved with its manufacture as I made some of the diamond cutting inserts that were used to machine the mirror in Hubble.
