Greetings!
My Dad instilled my love of NASA from a very early age.
We were at the Apollo 11 launch!
(where my Pop bought one of 4 neon orange banners that was supposedly on the gantry, that reads, “REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT”
I’m not sure if it’s genuine, but I wouldn’t part with it for the
W🌎RLD!!!
I have seen countless Space Shuttle launches
(a LOT scrubbed at the last moments, but STILL a thrilling experience!)
My family was so very heartbroken at the loss of two shuttles. :(
Since then, I’ve seen dozens of Space X and Atlas lift offs!
It ALWAYS tickles me to see the return on the barge. “I still love you” Ha!
I AM the official launch messenger in my huge family.
I text launch times to everyone!
I also am a HUGE watcher of the ISS and will get up ANYTIME to see a fly over.
Being a true NASA fan all these years has given me SO MANY happy memories and AMAZING sights!
Living in South Florida and now in Central Florida has been fortuitous in my love of NASA! LAUNCHES!! and everything in between!!
🚀❤️!!!!!

Since I was trained to solder computer components for NASA Space Shuttle back in the late 1970s, the Shuttle would be more memorable to me than the 1960s fleets. In the 60s, we would sit on the edge of the sofa with our hands to our mouths as the rockets took off or splashed back down in the ocean while we watched the process unfold on our black and white tv sets. (And of course, all those creature features we watched wondering if any of it could be true on far away planets.)

The seventies and eighties brought us the Space Shuttle as we still sat on the edges of the sofa, watching the tremendous power and thrust that the ship went through to visit the ISS. The Shuttle brought the occurrence to an almost ordinary sight that we never tired to watch. (Making us to wonder, what else really is out there.)

And now, the new era begins; colonizing and monetizing the moon. With all the countries eying space travel, we have initiated a space military force, giving more people the chance to become astronauts. (I guess "Lost In Space" isn't too far-fetched anymore; is it?)
