Those telescopic videos make it look questionable whether the asteroid's moon stayed together after the impact.

How long before we get to see the images from the cube following DART?

If I did my conversions correctly, the energy at impact was equivalent to exploding about 0.5 pound of TNT.

OOPS!! I somehow left out the square term for the velocity. So, make that a little over 5,000 pounds of TNT. That makes the visible result a lot more reasonable.

If the whole moon is just a loose agglomeration of dust, gravel, rocks and boulders, with near zero gravity it should not be too hard to blow it apart.
