Hmmm.

You know, this is one movie that may be truly suitable for a remake. The story is great, leave it alone. But, the only thing that the old versions lacked was convincing special effects. (By today's standards.)

At least the actors won't have to work too hard to keep the foam rubber tentacles wrapped around them.

This is one remake I'm actually looking forward to. Thanks for the headsup!

There was a low budget remake a few years ago. I would like to see the new movie stick closer to the book than any movie I have seen so far. Who they get to play Nemo is the big question. I just hope it's not Russel Crowe.

BTW why isn't this in Sci Fi?

Good question. Answer is that it was late and I punched up the wrong forum. Someone can move it if they want.

I was excited until I read that it was being done by the disney corp. While they do well with special effects .... their story lines are a bit too family orientated for my liking.
