By e-mail, no link that I can find...but it's the excellent www.spaceref.com and classed as breaking news.

"According to senior NASA sources, the space agency will begin briefing the major conclusions of
the combined 60-day exploration architecture studies the week of August 15th, beginning with
the White House and proceeding to Capitol Hill staffers. Mike Griffin may roll out the elements of
the plan to the public at a NASA headquarters press briefing shortly before the Labor Day
weekend holiday. No word as yet when the international partners will be told of the study's
conclusions."

> Something to keep us all busy on in-between STS missions etc./i>

Here is something that might keep you busy between now and the public announcement:

"Space Vehicle Design"
By Michael D. Griffin, James R. French

The contents look interesting, and Amazon.com lets you search inside the book and view pages with those terms. For example "lunar" brings up a number of pages talking about past lunar missions.

I have 1-click on and clicked it right away. Only later did I look back and realize the price was $100.95.

I'm determined to be rich before men get back to the moon, so i can watch it on a high definition 100" flat wall tv sometime in the late 2010's. Perfic.

You won't need to be rich for that. A late 2010s 100 inch flat-screen TV will probably cost the equivalent of twenty 2005 US dollars (or less).
