Whilst I agree with what you say 100%, I suggested the locking of this thread in the hope that the Moderators would be persuaded to come up with an answer.
Both leo and najaB have commented on the content of this 'topic' but do not seem to show any inclination as to banning this particular poster.

more's the pity.........

And that has nothing to do with you using Google to find your own answers instead of trolling for them here...
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find and not to yeild. - Tennyson

"Obsequium amicos, veritas odium parit".

Quite the oralist for someone whose grasp of basic grammar is so dire that you rank second behind my son Ciaran in the spelling test......

Me thinks that maybe mr. pseudo 'Bigbrain' is making a statement of identity................??

Why is the Hubble image of deep impact red?

Here are the original images:

Images

The red ones you are seeing are in false color to enhance the ejecta cone emminating from the comet.

Those damn clues. People keep tripping over them and planting their faces in them, but 9 times out of 10, they stagger to their feet, wipe their faces off, and lurch off into the future, no wiser than before.

TPTB went to Dallas and all I got was Plucked !!

So many people, so few recipes !!

Let's clean up this stinkhole !!

LOL!

Actually I was gonna say "Millions of woodchucks being burned alive in the proximity of the comet." but thought against it because I figured bigbrain would actually take that seriously!

Well nice of you to link to a page I already posted to you!

Why is it resplendent like a star? Because after the impact an ejecta cloud from the material thrown off (mostly ice and volitiles) catches the sun's rays and reflects and refracts it. It'd be like shattering a mirror into a bunch of little pieces and throwing it up into the air on a sunny day....in fact go try that BB.

That stone is resplendent before the faked impact.
