BTW, threads don't get deleted because they aren't liked. Otherwise Phenomena would be a very sparse forum <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" /> Threads only get deleted due to vilation of the Terms of Service, or Uplink Policies and Guidelines. *mod hat on* Furthermore, complaints about censorship are taken very seriously here. We are very proud of the fact that we do NOT censor any view. Even the views of people who don't think we went to the moon. The only requirement is that one has to be able to behave oneself. Taunting people with offerings of proof but then refusing to actually state one's position is rather irksome, but generally not ban-worthy. If a thread were to degenerate sufficiently into a flamewar, we'd lock it, but it's rare that we'll actually remove the thread. (And in either case, it's generally permissible to start a new one. In fact, when I lock threads, I usually encourage people to do so -- it can be a chance for a clean start on the topic.) This is Phenomena, not one of the science forums, so members aren't required to provide evidence for scientific claims. However, accusations of forum misconduct are more serious -- I would greatly appreciate evidence of that. If zarniwoop can give me a bit more information about this thread, I can probably help him find it. I suspect it wasn't deleted, but simply scrolled off the bottom of the forum. Perhaps this thread is what is intended? It dates to late '06. In his initial contribution, zarniwoop conjectures that any tracks discovered on the moon were left by aliens (and not by men). And -- in an intriguing pre-echo of his first post in the current thread -- speculates that his post will be promptly deleted: Any tracks found on the moon are in fact alien ie not made by anyone from earth.....this is because as we all know(those with the knowledge)we never landed there....it was all a hoax this is now scientific fact ,to all those that know the truth. this post will now doubt be deleted by the admins as the truth about the moon landings is taboo and must not be discussed at all costs ...as previous posts have showed. /safety_wrapper> <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> Just tell the truth and let the chips fall... </div>

Or... more likely it was THIS 'moon hoax' thread, which came along a little earlier. I think I'm having an OCD attack this evening. That's the only possible explanation for my digging this stuff up. zarniwoop: if it was deleted then someone own up...im not complaining as such ...just stating that threads do get deleted and no explanation given. Me: Maybe it was combined with the thread I recall us talking on.
