Something we use if the weather turns bad.<br /><br />And the answers is.......False<br /><br />The phases are determined by the angle with which we view the Moon. At any instant, half the Moon is in sunshine. How much we see of this sunlit half changes as the Moon revolves about the Earth. After New Moon we see a crescent phase growing to First Quater when the Earth. Moon,and Sun form a right angle.
