For all of you Battlestar Galactica addicts (like me ) , who need to get your fix before the new season starts, they are releasing 10 online "mini-episode" on www.scifi.com . The first two are already posted, I'm watching them now

Wouldn't load for a while, so I looked at the FAQ and discovered this:

I live outside the United States; why can't I watch the webisodes?

We want as many people to see the webisodes as possible, but for legal reasons we can make them available only to U.S. residents. We know that's disappointing, and we're sorry, but we're doing everything we can to make these available to the widest possible audience. If you're outside the United States, please be patient. We haven't forgotten you.

ARRRRGGGGHHHH!

Legal schmegal! How could this apply to Canada? The show is produced here for crying out loud!

I can definatley feel your pain, the first season was available in the UK before the US. It is really strange however, it is a free download, I wonder what types of copyright laws could possibly apply...

meh? How the heck is it a legal issue?

Sci-fi owns the rights doesn't it? Can't they air their own show to whomever they want? I wish they'd elaborate a bit.

--------------------SaiphMOD@gmail.com -------------------

"This is my Timey Wimey Detector. Goes "bing" when there's stuff. It also fries eggs at 30 paces, wether you want it to or not actually. I've learned to stay away from hens: It's not pretty when they blow" -- The Tenth Doctor, "Blink"

Still can't view them. Talk about a disregard for non-American viewers of BG.

Anyone aware of a way to download and view these webisodes?

I wish...

It really is disgusting, now that I'm noticing all the Vancouver landmarks as I watch the series again (I managed to get my wife into it). It was filmed here and I can't even watch the webisodes. It makes no sense at all.

Hmm, I'm finding 3 of the webisodes at torrentspy.com (a bit-torrent site), but not the first one... hmm, I'll have to keep checking...

...And Ep 10 is out and exploding all over. Any thoughts on this particular tactic...? Or the mish-mash of politics behind the players moves...?

Mere precedent is a dangerous source of authority.

-Andrew Jackson (1767-1845)
