Proton-M First Stage:

Six RD-275M Engines burning N[sub]2[/sub]O[sub]4[/sub]/UDMH. RD-275M is a further developed version from originally used RD-253 engine. Central tank contains the oxidizer and six outer tanks the fuel.

Proton-M Second Stage:

Three RD-0210 and one RD-0211 burning N[sub]2[/sub]O[sub]4[/sub]/UDMH. These engines are similar, but RD-0211 is the only one providing tank pressurization.

Proton-M Third Stage:

One RD-0212 engine cluster consisting of one RD-0213 for main propulsion and four RD-0214 for steering. All engines are burning N[sub]2[/sub]O[sub]4[/sub]/UDMH.

Proton-M Fourth Stage:

This launch is using Breeze-M upper stage. It consists from two modules, donut shaped add-on tank (which is jettisonable) and core module (Breeze-KM) with one RD-2000 engine burning N[sub]2[/sub]O[sub]4[/sub]/UDMH. It can be started up to 8 times during the flight which provides excellect accuracy to payload orbit placement.

www.federalspace.ru : EchoStar-15 Tanking is Carried Out at Baikonur
:: 22.06.2010

Proton-M/Breeze-M/EchoStar-15 prelaunch processing continues at Baikonur. The satellite built by US Space Systems Loral (США) will be operated by EchoStar Orbital Corporation.
SSL engineers completed EchoStar-15 electrical tests. Tanking of the spacecraft by oxidizer and fuel which began yesterday, is to last several days.
Khrunichev Center is planning to fuel also high-pressure tanks of the upper stage this week. Breeze-M now undergoes final testing in a clean room.
Proton is to loft EchoStar-15 in July, marking the 7th launch of Proton this year. Proton has already orbited Echostar payload in March, 2010. 6.3t-Echostar-14 became the heaviest satellite launched by Proton.
Proton launch services are contracted by International Launch Services Inc. (www.ilslaunch.com).

Khrunichev, which is one of the cornerstones of the Russian space industry, holds the majority interest in ILS. Khrunichev manufactures the Proton system and is developing the Angara launch system.

http://www.federalspace.ru : Proton/EchoStar-15: Successful Lift-Off
:: 10.07.2010

Proton-M successfully lifted off from Baikonur today at 22:40:36 MSK to loft US EchoStar-15.
EchoStar-15 produced by Space Systems Loral is a new direct broadcast satellite (DBS) which is being built for EchoStar Orbital Corporation II, a subsidiary of EchoStar Communications Corporation. Based on SS/L's 1300 platform, EchoStar-15 will provide expanded services and flexibility for DISH Network's more than 13 million direct-to-home (DTH) television subscribers.
Proton launch services for EchoStar-15 have been contracted by International Launch Services Inc. (ILS). The majority interest holder in ILS, which has exclusive rights to the worldwide sale of commercial Proton launch services, is Russia’s Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center, the designer and manufacturer of the Proton rocket and the Breeze M upper stage.
Proton-M lofted EchoStar-14 for EchoStar Orbital constellation in March. EchoStar-14 is the heaviest commercial spacecraft ever launched by Proton under ILS contracts.
