Amazing! Beautiful! Bizarre! Cool! Kudos for everyone who made this possible.

Jon

Whether we become a multi-planet species with unlimited horizons, or are forever confined to Earth will be decided in the twenty-first century amid the vast plains, rugged canyons and lofty mountains of Mars Arthur Clarke

You really have to appreciate the hard work and effort that made these images possible. It is simply amazing that we can land robotic missions on different planets and moons. The images these missions bring back are fascinating and incredible. They also make me realize the value of life, and how much living things add to the beauty of the "landscape" of our own world.
It seems to be a natural consequence of our points of view to assume that the whole of space is filled with electrons and flying electric ions of all kinds. - Kristian Birkeland
