I have decided to exit "Free Space" and come back here!

Free space has become so full of nastyness and sarcasim that I have found myself even getting more and more that way! I have no wish to no longer like myself. let alone anyone else that I just can't stand it over there anymore. <br /><br />At least here on M&L (and there IS debate here to) the tone of the posts is far more civil. As I said, I have even started to become less and less civil. I will have to leave discussions of general controversial subjects up to the far right and left of the political spectrum. There doesn't seem to be a middle ground at all anymore over there. <br /><br />It is such a waste of my time!! Heck, playing Diablo II is better!<br /><br />After all this IS space.com, right?

You mean with the sandbox kind of atmosphere that exists on FS? Maybe after I recharge my batteries for some time here in a more adult atmosphere. There is nothing to stop me from reading posts however. I will admit that there are far more laughs on FS. The "Nyah! Nyah! you're a booger man” kind of thing is sometimes hilarious!!

I could be wrong, but I have to admit that some of the threads over at FS are so hilarious that it is very difficult not to add my own 2 cents worth to the general mayhem!!<br /><br />Even in discussing serious topics, some of the people over there are almost as insanely funny as to provide even Bigbrain with competition!! <br /><br />I guess occasionally I will go back and get my feet wet, just for laughs if nothing else!<br />

Funny thing was that although they had 50,000 crowds each day a lot of hotel space was still available. They thought there would be a last minute rush and automatically reserved rooms for the companies selling Ascot tickets and accomodation. Didn't happen.<br /><br />York's got 1,109 hotels - and copes with 3 million tourists a year.....and so Ascot coming to York was never gonna hurt that much.<br /><br />Anyway, if you had said, you could have rented my place for the week.....couple of grand and I'd ****** off to the US for the week <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" />

Welcome! And, don't treat the looney bin too harshly...At least it keeps all the wackos more or less in one place, and it's always good for a few laughs.... But, seriously, the folks on M&L tend to be very intelligent, very informative, and basically really good folks.<br /><br />Rae
