I've noticed some parts of the hills, Spirit is in, has more of a purplish tint to it. Must be from small exposed windblown rocks.

2P159212401ESFAL5M1
Ron Bennett

The colorized version of Oppy's shadow is by far my favorite image (the sunset photos being a close second) from the mission. It's the wallpaper on my laptop. Love it.
Thanks for colorizing it, rlb2. Thanks for all the work....truly appreciated.
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find and not to yeild. - Tennyson

This is always the first thread I click when I visit these forums after work. I really enjoy the detailed pictures!

Anyways, 1P158723552EFFL5M1 looks like it has a "crab" crawling out from under the shadows. An unusual fragment!

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I really, really, really miss the "first unread post" function.
