Information and its location

Greetings one and all, I am a new forumer here and this is my first topic. I've been looking for a couple of weeks now for basic information on one (if not all) planets in our solar system. I've searched across the web but I ussually come up with forum posts or websites that don't have what i'm looking for. I was wondering if anyone here has any sites bookmarked that have basic information of our planets. When I say basic i'm looking for the chemicals the planets are made up of (if we know), approximate size, famous features, rotation period (approximate earth days) etc, etc. I've also looked around this site a little but haven't found much. If not websites then maybe a couple of good books/encyclopedia references. Thank you in advance.
