I think the telescope tube assembly is close to worthless, but the computerized mount might be worth buying if you can retrofit it with something better. &nbsp;Offer him $50 and see if he goes for it. If he dickers you up to $75, it might be worth it, but not more.<br /> <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>
