boki's looking for a more detailed mission timeline.

the one on nasa's site shows daily schedule, but does not include any times, or even time frames, for anything.
specifically, i'm after a time, or time window for the actual undocking.

trying to find out when, on day 12, it is.
i understand that there is always going to be a fudge factor, but there must be a rough outline of targeted times for tasks and events

What mission are you talking about?

sorry, sts-128.

"undocking" would imply ISS/shuttle, and the current mission, .. but i shoulda said

specifically, i'm hoping to find out a day or two in advance,
whether the separation will coincide fairly closely with the flyover, for me.

on docking day the shuttle was about 20 minutes behind the iss.

i'd also love to be able to anticipate, and see a fluid purge.

Another place to check is the NASA TV schedule. Events like that are listed, it also shows how long the shuttle hangs around before it starts to move away from the station:

http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/m ... edule.html

For example, the hatch closing is the night before.

Undocking at 19:27 GMT, Flyaround begins at 19:52 GMT, Final separation (when they start to move apart) begins at 21:10 GMT, all on Tuesday Sept 8th. So they are very close for about an hour and a half after undocking, then start to move apart.

It also shows you which events will be televised, and NASA TV is streamed online.

thanx again, my second favourite wayne.

with the links from you guys, and the info, i'll have a pretty strong idea of how far they'll be apart.

i'm hoping for a few minor, and non-safety-oriented, delays.
as it is, looks like my flyover is currently about 5.5 hours behind the final moving away burn.

now hoping for those tedious delays and no clouds

I also have two passes, 4 1/4 hours and 5 3/4 hours after undocking. Both are kind of low, but hopefully the clouds will cooperate.
