Been in the works for a long time, but it looks like they're getting serious about it.

Side note: actor Nicolas Cage (real name: Nicolas Coppola, nephew of director Francis Ford Coppola) took Cage as his stage name because of his childhood hero worship of Nick Cage.

Synopsis: wrongly convicted then mutated by an experiment in prison (strength, steel hard skin etc.) Carl Lucas becomes "Hero for Hire" Luke Cage.

I dont think he has been a big enough comic character to warrant his own movie. However i can see Tyrese Gibson playing the part.

I can see this turning into something like "Steel" with Shaq. What a FLOP that was.

Power Man and Iron Fist was a fairly good book circa 1980.

For a short while Powerman (Luke Cage) took the Thing's place in the FF.
