Obviously the moon does not have companion stars. But from the southern tier of NYS at dusk, over the past few days, there have been two luminous objects SSW about 50 degrees up from the horizon. The separation between the two objects and the moon has grown over the past three days, and I think the two have separated as well. Could somebody tell me what those two things are? I thought it was neat to see three bright objects near each other on Monday, and facinating to witness them in motion. Thanks.

-KickLaBuka
