The Bad Astronomer has a post up about this upcoming Mythbusters episode, and it's got a trailer! Sweet! It'll air on August 27.

Basically, the Mythbusters will be testing a few of the claims of moon hoax proponents to see if they make any sense. Listed in the trailer are flapping flag and non-parallel shadows, but reference is also made to non-absolute-blackness of shadows. From previous BA posts, I know they'll also look at the idea that the moon landing scenes were shot in slow-mo to give the impression of lower gravity.

It's a neat trailer. Might even get no-moonies to tune in. ;-)

Mythbustin' the Moon Hoax, Part III

"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly . . . timey wimey . . . stuff." -- The Tenth Doctor, "Blink"
