NBC show 'Chuck' gives a nod to ABC show 'Lost'

The new NBC spy comedy 'Chuck' had a throwaway reference to 'Lost' if you listened to tonites episode closely.<br /><br />Okay a little setup is neccessary. <br /><br />Chuck is a nerd who works at a 'More Buy' consumer electronics store as a technogeek after dropping out of Stanford. Chuck's old college rival, who unbeknown to Chuck is now is a professional spy, sends an email to Chuck which magically downloads an entire database and program from a new NSA system into Chuck's brain (yes it's technobabble magic). So Chuck becomes a sort of living difference engine crammed full of top secrets which Chuck will suddenly blurt out from time to time when a relevant event tickles the program into activating. It's not as stupid as my description is making it sound and it's actually an entertaining show.<br /><br />So anyway during tonites episode Chuck was tested and began rattling off secret after secret in rapid-fire succession. One of the sentence fragments that came out of Chuck's mouth was, "Oceanic flight 815 was shot dow-". Pretty funny.
