Replying to:

First I agree with you about the going there. It's beautiful country even without any UFO's or the like. I watched the episode in question and it was pretty much as I feared. Nothing they captured and showed on video looked any different from the many satellites and meteors I've seen. The one time the thought they saw something moving, then stop and then change direction .... they didn't show it on the show. They showed everyones faces going "ooh" and "aaah" but didn't bother to keep the sky framed. They note that the "NASA database" didn't show any satellites over them at that time. Turns out this wasn't true and you can check for yourself if you want (you know the location, insert 8/13-14/2008 for the dates). But you don't have to, you can view the video made by the Above Top Secret guys who where also there at the same time as the PRS team. It and a long discussion of what they saw can be found here. Then there was the false drama. The something in the woods. They go chase this unseen it. The find a "den". They don't go back in the daylight. What?? Imagine a "den" or animal in the WA woods. Who'd a thunk it. Then 2 females walking down the road hear "something moving" and get "scared". They pan their spotlight down towards the noise ("splashing around") and ... what appears to me to be a rock in the river ... they then ask "what's that ?" and [cue dramatic music] "get your knife out". After the commercial they come back to say (what was obvious to me) "oh, it's just water". Duh. So I was underwhelmed to say the least. I give them some credit for recognizing, on tape, a plane and a meteor (Perseids peaking about then) instead of playing them up.
Posted by Mee_n_Mac
I agree most of the program is for ratings,The flying man was bull but your right on going there even if its just for the scenery, they said thousands of people have been there, wheres the videos?
