Hi Jon, thanks for you answer. <br /><br />I think that it is real too. I looked at the other images in the same selection, & they too <br />clearly showed tilted layering.<br /><br />I do prefer the idea that Hadley Delta is indeed uplifted primordial anorthositic crust.<br /><br />The layering would be successive episodes like crystal loading.<br /><br />A shame that I could not find some real close ups.<br /><br />This site would be worth returning to IMO.<br /><br />Also obviously because I have met two of the Apollo 15 astronauts (Irwin & Worden), & the <br />volcanic nature of this area, would be biased anyway. <br /><br />I will post some more images on this thread.<br /><br />Once again, thanks Jon.<br /><br />Andrew Brown. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> <p><font color="#000080">"I suddenly noticed an anomaly to the left of Io, just off the rim of that world.
