<p>We have one of the best FM stations where I live. It's basically one of the very first alternative music stations. And it's not-for-profit so they can play whatever the hell they want without any wrath from the big record labels. They actually helped to make a few bands HUGE before they were popular any place else outside their hometowns. <p>&nbsp;</p><p>Disco 99</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Milwaukee Wisconsin, circa 1979</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>(at work we took turns picking radio station for PA system.&nbsp; One goofball kept picking some gawdawful PBS talk station instead of music.&nbsp; We discovered he hated Disco, so that was pretty much the standard choice on days when it was not his turn.&nbsp; We all listened to Steve Dahl every morning though.&nbsp; His JW Gacy tribute song (Another Kid in the Wall) remains a classic in parody rock.)</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p> <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> <p><font color="#ff0000"><strong>TPTB went to Dallas and all I got was Plucked !!</strong></font></p><p><font color="#339966"><strong>So many people, so few recipes !!</strong></font></p><p><font color="#0000ff"><strong>Let's clean up this stinkhole !!</strong></font> </p> </div>
