Exosense
Did it ever occur to you that the offspring of the rocks might be square? Or maybe the rocks lay square eggs and the baby rocks hatch from there?
Isn't this in the wrong forum?

Shouldn't it be in SETI?
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find and not to yeild. - Tennyson

No offense, but I went and looked at the pix on your site. They're rocks. Nothing more, nothing less. In fact, they virtually don't even look like the captions that you gave them.

And by the way: have you ever heard of "peer review?" If you go to a roomfull of professionals, and state "this is evidence of intelligent life," and all you show them are pictures of wind-scoured stones, you willbe asked to leave, until you have actual, concrete proof.

Differential Diagnosis: "I am both amused and annoyed that you think I should be less stubborn than you are."

Ok, it's life but not as we know it.

They will soon multiply to form hundred of little rock...creatures, mainly by the action of the wind, and the energy of the wind itself is the nutrient or energy source that it needs for reproduction and respiration?

Growth stages - dispersed form during the early solar system, leading to the adult form (which looks suspiciously like rock to unsuspecting observers, followed by a plasma phase about 4.5 million years hence. Ok, it broadly satisfies some of the criteria for life

Do I have it right so far?

Nobody even believes you at the MC forum, Extrasense I guess jesters are tolerated here too.

No, no he's right! I was looking at his site and experienced direct telepathic contact with the rock being. He told me his name was in fact Rock. His father before before him was called Cliff, a much more imposing fellow, although Rock is trying to be chip off the old block.

I wish I could remember
But my selective memory
Won't let me - Mark Oliver Everett

I'm still skeptical. Is that...concreteproof? O.k., as long as you're not "set" in your ways.

Now if he had shown us a piece of rock, with graffitti etched into it. ----- have you ever heard of "peer review?" If you go to a roomfull of professionals ------

This description shows that you have no clue as to what the peer review is. What is being done, is that your paper is being sent to a bunch of editor's friends,
and they write back that they do not like your last name.

e s

Discounting, of course, my 28 years in the scientific and engineering world, including being lead for building the ground support equipment for a satellite project. Yes, I went to that page also. Just another rock. I don't know what youseem to see there, but it's a rock. Very common looking. Have to admit a grudging admiration for your cheerful, irrepressible disregard for reality.

I wish I could remember
But my selective memory
Won't let me - Mark Oliver Everett

A Petroglyph is defined as an inscription, usually etched into rocks. You haven't shown one.

My advice: eyeglasses, followed by some warm, fuzzy, mental-health counseling. Because you, Sir, are seeing things. As cheerful as you are about it...

Differential Diagnosis: "I am both amused and annoyed that you think I should be less stubborn than you are."
