Remove "Fiction" from science fiction!
Is it the truth now!
Taking fictions to reality!
The question is straight as written in the title!

Oops! this is my alien friend.

╬→Ť╠╣є ’ M€ ’
╬→ Ðôŵņ2Ëãřŧĥ ๑
╬→ ЙДm€ :Varsha

Yeah, fiction, even realistic science fiction is just that.
Fiction.

But it sure does inspire the imagination, which is a way to access new ideas!

But the Krell forgot one thing John. Monsters. Monsters from the Id.

I really, really, really, really miss the "first unread post" function

You can drop the fiction when I can replace my Kimber with a phaser.

-----------------------------------------------------

Ask not what your Forum Software can do do on you,

Ask it to, please for the love of all that's Holy, STOP !

Maybe we should call it Specuative Science since we are postulating what the future might bring in the way of developments. In doing so we begin to shape the future we want.

The Science fiction writers of the golden age took what little science they had and used it to shape what they speculated the future would bring. They also took hypothetical possibilities and created the stories that would shape the research that could bring it about. We haven't arrive or developed all of their ideas yet but the endeavor makes for a possible future.

If we hadn't had these visionaries the future of mankind would be much more bleak.

Well would you buy a book that is science fiction or fiction. I prefer that it stays at science fiction cause then it would be science fiction it sounds right it wouldn't sound right if it was called say fiction. Ok some of the things they are doing are coming true but that does not mean anything. Would you buy a book lets say a Star Trek book that said fiction instead of science ficition would you still buy it. It's all about science and that is still developing.

Love,
Kimberly
