Ideas for retiring the shuttle:

1. load 'em full of "stuff", launch remotely, refuel at ISS, send on to Phobos to airbag-land, establishing a depot for future Mars mission...

er, there's no way that a space shuttle will ever get to mars. Ever. unless it's carried in the belly of some massive futuristic interplanetary freighter.

HAHAHAHAH, very funny! Its very hard to land a space shuttle on another rock in space. Why just send them to a museum? that's where there going anyway.

gavinovz
