Space Capitalism and Capitalization

This is good, very good, and I hope it is important enough...!

Fat too good and important, even imperative, I believe, not to try to get read by a larger readership! Caught me completely by surprise where it came out! I was stunned . . . pleasantly deeply so (a reading article of great clarity after my own heart and mind and many outputs on the subject)!!!!

Yes, it is "right on". Only Capitalism can open space like it has. In 2013, Musk was the only private investor in big. Only because we allowed him to amass and have sole control of hundreds of billions of dollars did the automotive industry, the telecommunications industry and the space industry become revolutionized. NASA couldn't do it, the ESA couldn't do it. Musk will put NASA on the Moon. Musk launched the first all European crew to ISS. Euros couldn't do that.
Capitalism is but private property rights and two people exchanging their stuff in the open with the government taking a cut to keep everyone honest. If you don't like Capitalism, then tell me which of those three items you don't agree with.

Death solves a plethora of 'problems',
so perhaps we might be a bit more specific and careful in our proclamations?

Conservatives appreciate that which exists and favor its preservation.

Capitalists on the other, unconservative hand are focused on exploitation. It is like biology that generally finds every niche and avenue to exploit for immediate advantage with virtually no long-term outlook.

Dreams and imagination fuel the chaotic unorganized activities of capitalism.
Like the tens of thousands who even now rush to every get rich quick fantasy of a gold mine.

Humans are compulsive, neurotic, imaginative and delusional and mostly ignore any rational cautions about long term prospects and consequences.

Maturity is for losers. Let's go be reckless lunatics as usual!

"Capitalists on the other, unconservative hand are focused on exploitation."

This is because Capitalists, like all other groups, are made of people and people are greedy. This is why I said the government takes a cut to keep everyone honest. That includes protecting the environment.

Pardon me my reflexive poking at capitalism kool-aid drinking.
People are impulsive and capitalism is economic impulsivism. Logically it's to be expected.

"...the government takes a cut to keep everyone honest. That includes protecting the environment."

Let me just say property 'rights', governmental engineered 'honesty' & governmental 'environmentalism' are viewpoints thinking people might have strong differences with,

But we all believe things that keep us happy &/or sane.

Conservative Capitalism is an oxymoron.

Human rhetoric is delightful and horrific nonsense.

We are psychological joyriders.

General guidelines for a society that weren't borderline suicidal might be nice.

Unregulated capitalism is a free-for-all.
A government sponsored free-for-all is rigging things to favor the insider connected.

A rigged market is not a free market,
& not for any aspirational or even pragmatic purpose(s).

'Money is speech'?
'Corporations are people'?
Treaty provisions that give tax dodging corporations supremacy over all levels of government?

Human intelligence?
Whatever....

No one is suggesting Capitalism or any system be unregulated. We regulate everything right down to the no parking zone in front of the NYSE.

In every corporation there is one single person who has ultimate responsibility. I am that person for my corporation.

Treaties have the force of law. Abiding by one to escape taxes is legal. Your only recourse is to get a law through Congress. Good luck.

"Hello, Abyss! It's me, the Dragon!"

My suggestion would be to write an indignant letter to Congress protesting their proliferation of laws. Best of luck to you. Let us know how it works out.
You forget I'm seventy-years a student of history. I'm quite familiar with many people (high and low), peoples (great and not-so-great), systems (savage and civilized (dynamic and static civilization)), physics, and cosmopolis ("all politic are local")).

Close?! Or just in passing?! By "close" I mean history is a matter of repeating natural laws . . . a matter of repetitive physics . . . a matter of non-amnesic "Lessons of History". Relentlessly inescapable natural laws, physics, lessons that doom so many to repeat "being taught a lesson the hardest of ways!"

Life, the seventh and pinnacle fundamental force, the "life force" of the universe.

Yes, you are correct, history repeats itself. Socialism, Communism and Fascism all have never produced a country as successful as our Capitalist system. I have personally traveled to each type of system* and seen it first hand. I vote for Capitalism.

*Marxist-Leninist Socialist countries I have been to:
- East Germany - 1970
- Albania - 1980
- Yugoslavia - 1992
Fascist country
- Spain - 1969

I've met, and talked many subjects, with all kinds, high and low.

I will add that my patient wife of 55 years and counting, and our children, put up with a lot while I was engaged in military (two services!) and following university (staff) careers, plus engaging in wide reading and deep studies (first and foremost "history"), plus involved interactions pertaining.

I, too, vote for Capitalism!

Agreed. I was wrong thinking magnetics is harder than bio. Most people don't have enough Higgs and quantum to prevent bio-incidents but 100 people could including EM. In space, most people will pandemic themselves stars away, so USA is focused nearer since the 1970s. I can't staff easily my bioresearch Neptune base. I can only take 500 past Neptune. I'll find love in space in 400k yrs and she will administer 100k people if she choses, did not want them to be religious. Eventually 3 people can be made with inflation comms not coming within 20 LYs of us or 80 LY away. If we started out on Arcturus or an artificial planet Musk might be working on those comms now instead of feinting bio for everyone.

Ahh! Capitalism! I'm here to do a lot of mixing:

Black holes / white holes, fusing or fissioning (sic) universes, capitalism, some loaves of bread (not to get religious), life cells (worlds) in buildup to divisions, SPACE FRONTIERS, outputting in expansion far more mass material energies in the physics and cosmology than they input . . . then they take in!

The most probable provider? Entropy (Schrodinger's cat: It's dead! / It's very much alive!).
