Where will the Earth be in relation to 2004 MN4?<br /><br />What does Starry Night say?

The links on the thread farther up on this page have plenty of graphics links on its relation to Earth. As it looks now, it will be a close shave--well inside the Moon's orbit. <br /><br />This link could get you started; click on the hyperlink for the asteroid:<br /><br />http://newton.dm.unipi.it/cgi-bin/neodys/neoibo?riskpage:0;main<br /><br />To find out with Starry Night, you'd have to enter the object's orbital elements into the program. However, I doubt SN would be of much help, as I don't think the program takes account of the gravitational perturbations that are critical to accurately determining a NEO's orbit over decades-long timeframes.
