Alright!!! The ECO sensors have been test-cycled and are behaving thus far!

Who is this superhero? Henry, the mild-mannered janitor ... could be!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bring Back The Black!

Why is Launchpad 39-A being repaired right now?

Why didn't NASA prep it for the return to flight worst-case scenario that would necessitate an Atlantis launch?

Now only 20 percent chance of weather causing a scrub today, according to the latest forecast. Good news!

Cool, there was a far off shot of the pad there a second ago and you could see the excess hydrogen being burnt off.
(I think it's Hydrogen....you know what I'm talking about )

Big long flame stretching into the night sky.

Erauskydiver checking in. Traffic wasnt nearly as bad as I had expected Phew. I was surprised... thought the traffic along the 528 causeway would be worse. 405 going into KSC was pretty backed up though.

I think everyone is here, we're packed over on ours.

ECO second test coming soon. First one was great, happy ET guys etc. (got one on quote and he was previously a bit negative on things). Weather up to 80 per cent good to go, etc.etc.

All good, basically

Does anyone else think that the vehicle looks almost magical in the early morning sun? The chirping birds in the background seemed almost unreal - until you remember that KSC is in the middle of a nature sanctuary!

I think those poor birds are in for a supprise, I bet most have never seen a shuttle a launch before! First time I've been in SDC to see one as well

On the flip side, there is nothing more un-nerving that going to bed after working through the night, and hearing the morning birds singing.

Good luck all...see y'all on the flip side.

Wayne

"1) Give no quarter; 2) Take no prisoners; 3) Sink everything." Admiral Jackie Fisher

I am so glad the sensors are working. I agree, the shuttle looks good today. I hope they let us see them finish closing the hatch today.
