Oh sorry that I am dragging up this long forgotten thread again...There is much more interesting stuff going on here...<br />But I was unable to log on all weekend, hence I had the chance only today to catch up with the latest News on Eric Julien and Co. His board is back up, freshly wiped, due to alleged Hacker activity (my arse...LOL). <br />He has not only changed the dates of the still impending disaster, but also expressed his great relief that his prediction has not yet come true, which seems pretty hilarious.<br />What strikes me is the desperation of his followers, their WANTING for him to be right. I KNEW he made it all up, but there was a nagging doubt in my mind, wondering "What if...". People like EJ are dangerous, not only by being a deluded fantasist but also by sucking vulnerable people in.<br />BTW: I heard that on the 6/6/06 something's going to happen. It's the EVIL number!!!!! Here we have another date to look forward to..... LOL

Unfortunately there will always be EJs and their followers. For most of us who excercise skepticism and critical thought, EJ is little more than something of entertainment value. Don't see much interfering with that schedule, least of all an impending doomsday.<br /><br />When one of these people predicts an event on some day were all familiar with, it generally never occurs. It is a FACT that a big earthquake hits the west coast every 100 - 150 years, we are close to the 150 year mark. We have a history of pandemics, one now would be worse becaue lets face it, we are over populated. Anything that goes wrong will be blamed on a comet, which in fact comets pass earth all the time. Go to NASA's site and you will see just how many. We all know that it is just a matter of time before it occurs. In God's time, when God lets it happen and NOT when ET sends it lol.

Although I did mention decades from now which still holds true.<br /><br />Just because we had an impact does not automatically make it SW-3, nor does it automatically validate EJs prediction IMO. If someone else wants to believe EJ is right, more power to them. But remember, he predicted a much more calamatous event which was to be on May 25th. He seemed sure of it, with his dire warnings of government evac preps that were never announced anywhere else AFAIK.<br /><br />I also mentioned to someone (Post on May 30, 2006) it would be just my luck EJs prediction would come true. We got something just so EJ would look good and whatta I get! LOL.<br /><br />Consider this...if I had come on this board and predicted it the way EJ did, I'd be laughed off the board. But because EJ has a website, appeals to peoples sense of mystery, utilizes a totally dream based prediction, he's the next best thing to Nostradamas. As I mentioned to someone in one of my earliest posts here who stated... "Will he be in a deep hole? I replied "Nah, hell have followers long after he is shown to be wrong". In fact, that was part of my original response to the comment "but in case he's wrong after the 25th of May...Then what do you think about this situation... Do you think he'll be in a deep hole?" A comment you made.<br /><br />There was another thread a few months back where someone calling themselves a time traveller from our future made the usual vague predictions...a civil war in the U.S. in 2005.
