"Obviously a cover up would be true to form for other phenomena over the past 50 years unless you are still one of the few who think that all phenomena can be explained away as swamp gas, weather balloons, supersonic blimps, or space debris."

Ah, the Cover Up. That must be why there's no evidence. The &%$#@!s.

You were aware that 95% or so of UFOs that are competently investigated are explained as, oh the irony, weather balloons, supersonic blimps, or space debris, and myriad other mundane causes, right? 'Swamp gas' is a canard -nobody ever used that one except once: Dr. J. Allen Hynek working on a Michigan sighting in the 1960s.

Other frequent, proved causes of UFO reports: planets, the moon, hoaxes, unconventional lighting on aircraft, space launches, air-towed ad banners, hoaxes, car headlights, aircraft landing lights, a wide array of meteorological effects, hoaxes, tightly packed bird flocks reflecting sunlight, water surface reflections, fata morgana, and... what else, there many many more, oh yeah... and hoaxes.

I saw the above-linked vids a while ago. Another member of the message board where I saw it put up a link revealing the hoax. I'm trying to locate it or that board member, see if he's still got it.
