Management thought it'd be a hoot to do this swapover on the 1st. They thought all of you would appreciate the humor in it. May be they were wrong about that.

Maybe anyone with a few functioning neurons in their head could have predicted the ensuing train crash.

Actually it was a good trick. A couple of notes that gave it away.
1. Well it was April 1st, so gotta expect something.
2. MW is a terrible actor when he seemed to get mad at site manager for what had happened. MW stick to science.
3. When new-Cali called old-Cali a "coward" was a bit over the top.

Actually I thought MW played it pretty well. On my end I could almost hear the veins popping. At first I thought it was the very top admins who played the prank on everyone else, including moderators; that woulda been even funnier.

Yeah, I did bungle that one a bit. Also, dragon04 evidently had read Lungbarrow, so he knew who Satthralope was, which was kinda neat.

At first I thought who are these moro ... err, newbies. Then I saw the announcement and thought ... seems to be quite a sea change (ie - too many bats flying at once). MW being a bit over the top convinced me and then Dragon's post sealed the deal. So do we get to place bets on who was whos alter ego ? Obviously Calli's is blown.

My guesses :
ALQ87 = Yev due to military nature of name
RevDan = drwayne due to errr, I dunno, just seemed right
draconis - MW due to astronomical name




BTW : since when is SpaceAdmin rated an asteroid ?
